Bridging The Gap

In many cultures and countries around the world, teeth gaps are considered a phenomenon of beauty. As the facial feature that sets you apart from everyone else, teeth gaps can actually be quite stunning, but not everyone thinks this to be true.

Still, whatever your opinion is on gaps, you can have yours corrected. Let’s discuss your options:

  • Braces or Invisalign – Traditional metal braces are the tried and trusted method to slowly correct teeth gaps and bring the teeth closer together while simultaneously aligning them. For children and young adults, this may be the best choice, but Invisalign is the go-to for adults. As a translucent mouthpiece made specifically to fit your jaw and teeth, Invisalign can be worn throughout the day and night with optimal comfort, and can be removed for a short period of time every day.
  • Porcelain veneers – Veneers are an excellent choice for closing gaps between teeth. Bonded to the front of existing teeth, veneers can provide shape and uniformity to your teeth while bridging the gap between them.
  • Dental bonding – For your smaller, benign tooth gaps, dental bonding is the way to go. Using the same composite as tooth fillings, the material sticks to the teeth and fills the gap. Dental bonding is cost-effective and minimally invasive.
